We are hosted by and part of the NHS, with deep experience of health, social care, third sector and academia. Our team of eight have diverse experience ranging from social work and occupational therapy through to software development, games and creative industries, research, project and event management, business analysis and content management.

Victoria Betton

Programme Director

Victoria founded mHabitat in 2014 to support people-centred digital innovation in health and care. With a background in the third sector, local authority and NHS she has clocked up two masters degrees and a PhD on the theme of online social networks and mental health. Victoria is owner of Bibi our office PAT dog.

Zoe Limbert

Office Coordinator

A recent graduate from Leeds College of Art, Zoe studied Ba(Hons) Digital Film, Games and Animation and spends her time away from the mHabitat working on arts and crafts. Zoe is the first point of contact within the team, always happy to help and amply titled the team organiser.

Alicia Ridout

Deputy Programme Director

A registered Occupational Therapist and Stress Management/Relaxation teacher with over 25 years of experience encompassing industry, NHS, private healthcare and the 3rd sector, Alicia brings significant experience in a range of project and service improvement methodologies, user engagement capabilities with a proven track record of success.

Steve Lloyd-Smart

Technical Lead

With an interest in all things digital and technology Steve joined the mHealth team in October 2014. With 7 years of NHS experience his remit is to provide technical support and advice, develop prototype products and create/produce digital content.

Francesca Quartarulli

Project Manager

A History of Art graduate with a background in event’s management and experience within the NHS family. Fran brings an enthusiastic approach to problem solving, juggling between different tasks and organising the team to make sure our projects are delivered on schedule.

Bibi

Team Mascot

Incredibly friendly and super fluffy, Bibi is our team mascot and office dog.
She is currently training for a Pets As Therapy Qualification which will enable her to get more involved in mHabitat activities and bring her special brand of cuteness to a much wider audience.

Bibi has recently embraced digital and launched her own Instagram account.

Helen Fisher

User Co-design Researcher

A Product Design BA(Hons) graduate with a background in people-centered research and inclusive design for health and wellbeing. Helen has worked on a variety of product, graphic and service design projects within health and social care. Helen provides creative research skills, design support and helps to facilitate mHabitat Discovery Labs.

Alison Braithwaite

Digital Practitioner Programme Lead

A qualified life coach and business analyst, with a masters degree in Healthcare Leadership, Alison has a passion for improving lives at home and work. Alison brings with her a wide range of skills and experience from 25 years working across public and private sector, the last 10 of those years working within the NHS.

Natalie Nelissen

Research Fellow

A neuroscientist with previous academic research experience, Natalie is interested in studying and developing web-based and mobile technologies to improve health. Her main focus within the mHabitat team is to to develop a framework to evaluate current mental health digital projects and communicate the results
