The world is facing unprecedented challenges and disruption due to coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak and the situation is constantly evolving.

The safety and wellbeing of our clients and colleagues is our highest priority and as an NHS team we are now focused on supporting the incredible efforts on the frontline.

As a co-design digital health innovation and inclusion agency hosted by the NHS, we are well equipped to adapt our tools and approaches and work with our partners to explore new ways to deliver digitally enabled health and care which works for everyone.

  • We have temporarily closed the physical Co>Space North Site and we will be fast-forwarding our Co>Space North Online Programme. Watch this space for further information.
  • All of our staff are now working remotely and we have developed a bite size guide to healthy remote working.
  • Some of our team have been redeployed to provide clinical, research and project management support within our NHS Trust (Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust).
  • We are working with each of our project partners individually to review our project plans in light of Covid-19 and offering remote options where appropriate.
  • We have transformed our services to include a suite of online workshop and event tools and resources.
  • We are developing an inclusive digital transformation programme including working on an ‘enhanced care package’ approach to co-design support to ensure digital health products and services work for more socially and digitally excluded groups. See our NHS Confed NHS Voices blog for why.
  • The Mindwell (mental health platform) team have been working hard in partnership with the Leeds CCG and others to develop a Coronavirus online information Hub as a key point of information for the public and professionals.
  • We have partnered up with our trusted network of associates including Mindwave and Ethical Healthcare to offer an implementation support service across the AHSN networks and for local NHS organisations.

Finally we wanted to share our absolute appreciation for the many health and care and other key workers who are caring for us on the frontline and for the people supporting them behind the scenes in this most challenging and difficult of circumstances.
